Cade's Legacy, which is a division of With Angel Wings, is excited to host our first ever Camp Cade. It is our hope that Camp Cade will bring much needed grief resources and support to children and their families in Southwest Minnesota and surrounding areas.

What is Camp Cade?

When children lose a loved one, they grieve too. Children grieve in different ways depending on their age, where they are developmentally, and what their relationship to the person they lost is.

Camp Cade is a day grief retreat focused on supporting children, as well as their parents, with the loss of someone close to them.

The day will consist of a variety of activities where families can express their feelings while feeling safe and supported.

Children and parents will have separate sessions as well as sessions they complete together as a family.

    

How Camp Cade Was Started

Everything done through Camp Cade is done in great love and in honor of Cade Delmonico. Although Cade's life here on earth was very short, he lived every day to the fullest and brought so much happiness to those around him. Cade can be described as being loving, polite and silly even at his young age. When Cade left his earthly home the Delmonico Family found great support in families who were walking similar grief paths. They also knew they had to keep Cade's legacy of loving everyone, always being polite and knowing right when to be silly. 

Camp Cade is dedicated to offering a space where everyone can remember their loved one by spending a day of being loving, polite and silly in their honor.
